About Powerloom

Powerloom Protocol is a decentralized data protocol primarily designed to meet the growing data requirements of smart contract-based applications, including DeFi, games, and other user-centric platforms. It incentivizes participating peers to achieve consensus on state transitions and event emission observations across multiple smart contracts.​

Snapshotter

A Snapshotter is a node that captures crucial on-chain data transitions and event emissions. Snapshotter nodes are the backbone of the Powerloom ecosystem. They are responsible for capturing data from the blockchain and storing it in a decentralized manner. To become a snapshotter node, a node must stake a certain amount of Powerloom tokens. Snapshotter nodes are incentivized to capture data by receiving rewards in the form of Powerloom tokens for their work.

How to Run Your Snapshotter Lite Node with One Click On NodeOps?

• Login to NodeOps Console

• Select Powerloom Node

• Enter your Burner Wallet Address & Private Key: ENSURE THAT YOU DO NOT USE YOUR MAIN/PRIMARY ACCOUNT. DO NOT PUT MNEMONICS. THIS IS A ONE TIME OPERATION ONLY PER NODE. YOU CAN generate a new burner wallet in metamask or here.

• Copy & Paste your Burner Wallet Address & Private Key over the NodeOps Console

• Proceed to Payment & You Are All Set, give your setup 1-2 minutes and you will have your Node Up & Running

Pricing structure

The Snapshotter node requires a high-throughput Ethereum RPC and IPFS API endpoint, which has been taken care of by NodeOps. As per the current pricing structure and Powerloom architecture, we are running a snapshotter node for each slot. For example, $29 per month for 1 slot, or $58 per month for 2 slots. This pricing may change at any time in the future, and such changes will be notified on Discord.

4. Proceed with All the Steps to get the KYC option

• Total Nodes Available: 10,000

• Total Tokens Allocated for the Campaign: 8.0M tokens, representing 0.8% of the total supply

• Reward Allocation per Node (Throughout the Campaign): Each node can earn 800 tokens.
